About Us

Gulf Coast Midwest Energy Partners, LLC is a limited liability company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and gas reserves in Texas, Louisiana and the U.S. mid-continent region. Founded in 2007, Gulf Coast operates out of two offices that are located in Houston, Texas and Antioch, IL.

Although Gulf Coast is a relatively young company, the long-term experience of our management team in finance, risk management, investing and operations in the oil and gas industry has given us a prominence in the oil and gas industry comparable to much longer established companies.

Gulf Coast is a customer-focused company and our business mission is to be the investment partner of choice to high net worth individuals, industry partners, and large hydrocarbon consumers seeking a financial hedge to their oil and gas consumption. Gulf Coast brings together investors seeking opportunities in the oil and gas industry with the best independent operators on the Gulf Coast.

From an investment perspective, Gulf Coast's drilling programs operate much like a mutual fund for the oil and gas sector, participating only with top tier operators and diversifying our dollars across projects to maximize risk adjusted returns and preserve capital.

Our objective is to continue growing our profitability and cash flows through:

  • Leveraging our long term relationships in the oil and gas industry to create top quality investment opportunities.
  • Ensuring our dollars are invested in oil and gas wells, achieving a low cost overhead position thru the use of technology and automation.
  • Extracting some benefits of vertical integration by partnering with companies who generate oil and gas prospects.

Gulf Coast's current areas of participation include Oklahoma, the Louisiana and Texas Gulf Coasts as well as the Permian Basin which extends throughout southwest Texas and southeast New Mexico. The Permian Basin is the largest and most productive oil basin in the United States, with the entire basin accounting for approximately 16 percent of the total United States crude oil production since 1994.
